You keep ownership
A CUTV discussion does not transfer copyright. Rights stay with their owner unless a written agreement says otherwise.
For producers, ministries, churches & festivals
CUTV is building a rights-first distribution network for Christian films, series, documentaries, Kids programming, gospel concerts and faith media from Africa and the diaspora. We can discuss free official embeds, non-exclusive licences, post-festival distribution and revenue-share VOD.
A CUTV discussion does not transfer copyright. Rights stay with their owner unless a written agreement says otherwise.
No paid VOD is activated from a verbal promise, public upload or YouTube link alone.
Non-exclusive licence, revenue share, festival follow-on, free embed partnership or a custom arrangement can be discussed.
Territory, languages, windows, exclusivity, pricing and revenue share are documented title-by-title or catalogue-by-catalogue.
For suitable independent catalogues, CUTV may begin discussions around a 60% rights-holder / 40% CUTV revenue-share model. This is a negotiation starting point, not an automatic or binding offer.
A professional contact, your catalogue or screener, proof that you control the distribution rights, intended territories, languages, availability window and any restrictions on ads, rentals, purchases or church/public screenings.
An embeddable YouTube video can be shown free when the platform permits embedding. It cannot be converted into paid CUTV VOD without a separate commercial distribution right.
